The Pinnacle Schools (TPS) recognizes the importance of education for all and believes no student should be left behind for missing school during treatment. Academics are a primary component of the program and are designed to support students therapeutically by providing a safe learning environment in which their self esteem is positively impacted by success in school. Students attend school on campus daily in our 2800 square foot school building.

TPS offers education for students in grades 7-12. Our curriculum is fully accredited through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and by the Commission of International & Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA). Courses include the full range of core curriculum, advanced placement, honors, college prep and numerous electives. TPS teaching staff will also administer a student's current curriculum if preferred. Our academic administrator works closely with parents, students and counselors to design an individualized program of study that best supports the student's specific goals.

The dedicated teaching staff of TPS is focused on helping students become independent by building strong academic and problem solving skills. TPS offers a pro-active educational approach that teaches to each student's strengths and enables teachers to intercede immediately when conditions indicate help is needed. Individual tutoring is available on-line (real time), telephone and on-site (for specific subjects.) Close supervision and individual work stations support and motivate students to continue their education while in treatment.
